Mühlhausen, Germany

A bratwurst theme park on the edge of the Stadtwald in Mühlhausen, Thuringia, with free entry. The museum started in Holzhausen in 2006, outgrew that site at about 70,000 visitors a year, closed there in 2019 and reopened here on 16 August 2023. The exhibition covers bratwurst history and old butchery machines, including the 1404 Arnstadt record, and the four-hectare grounds add a spice garden, an animal enclosure and the Wursthaus, where visitors can eat.
