Japan's second-largest meat processor, founded in 1928 by Denzaburo Ito. Itoham introduced their Gourmet Frank Arabiki wieners in 1993, following Nippon Ham's category creation. Their arabiki is known for a slightly finer grind than the Schau Essen benchmark, with a pronounced smoky character. Available in every major supermarket chain in Japan. The company also produces premium kurobuta (black pork) sausages from Kagoshima Berkshire pigs.
